Sundays Intermediate 1

  (Prerequisite BI and BII or demonstration of specific skills) 

The Intermediate I class is for students that have completed the Beginner I & II classes and are looking to take their skills to the next level.   We will begin to work on the skills that will be need to pass the Canine Good Citizen test along with learning some “Real World skills” while working in various locations.Lessons will focus on walking on a loose lead, come, stay, polite greetings and working with distractions.

Purchasing a spot in this series requires a completed Pet Profile.

Advanced registration is required. No refunds are given for classes missed. Dogs are required to be vaccinated against Rabies as per CT State Law. Vaccinations against distemper, parvovirus, hepatitis, parainfluenza and Bordetella are also recommended. Registration, payment and proof of rabies must be submitted in order to reserve your spot in the class. No dogs will be allowed in class without up-to-date Rabies vaccination.

Equipment required:

• Flat buckle collar or front-clip harness (no choke, prong, or e-collars allowed)
• 6-foot leash
• Plenty of yummy treats
