Thursdays Beginner 1

Please join Janis Copes, ABCDT from Escape the Crate, LLC for this informative 6-week course designed to help you, the handler, learn how to get the behavior you want from your dog using force-free positive reinforcement techniques. Lessons will include teaching sit, down, come, stay, and walking on a loose lead. The goal is to teach your dog to be a polite family member.

Purchasing a spot in this series requires a completed Pet Profile.

Advanced registration is required. No refunds are given for classes missed. Dogs are required to be vaccinated against Rabies as per CT State Law. Vaccinations against distemper, parvovirus, hepatitis, parainfluenza and Bordetella are also recommended. Registration, payment and proof of rabies must be submitted in order to reserve your spot in the class. No dogs will be allowed in class without up-to-date Rabies vaccination.

Equipment required:

• Flat buckle collar or front clip harness (no choke, prong or e-collars allowed)
• 6 foot leash
• Plenty of yummy treats
